Worthwhile Africa Safaris is the initiative of Simon Kateeba and his wife Annett Katusabe.
Simon lives in a small village near Fort Portal with Annett and and their three children. They run a small homestay and work hard for the benefit of the local people and their environment.
Annett works helping local women develop skills and trades to support themselves and their children. She teaches basket making, making and binding exercise books and co-runs the homestay.
Annett and Simon’s three children Shanny, Bjorn and Sophie are full of smiles …
Here are some of the women who benefit from Annett’s basket making workshops.
