10 Day Uganda Ultimate Cycling Safari In Privileged Location

Join us in this amazing 10 Day Uganda Cycling safari for spectacular cycling in Uganda, gorilla memories and wildlife encounters with Worthwhile Africa Safaris

10 Day Uganda Cycling safari takes you biking in the wilderness. The trip will offer you extraordinary experiences and lifetime memories.  Cycling starts from Entebbe and takes you up to Kibale National park. In Kibale, you will get to trek chimpanzees and bike in the vicinity of the mountains of the moon. The trip will also chance you a cycle on your own to Queen Elizabeth National park and also take you through the nearby community to Bwindi Forest. Watch out for volcanic craters, forested areas, and mountains as you cycling for 10 days.

10 Days Uganda Cycling Safari.

Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe Airport.

Arrive at the airport you’ll be welcomed by our representatives who will transfer you to the hotel of your choice for overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale / Afternoon Bicycle ride from Fort portal to Kibale Park

You will have an early breakfast, then meet your guide for briefing, and then drive through the lush countryside to head to Fort portal.  You will arrive in the afternoon to have lunch at the Hotel. Then later you will ride your bicycles to transfer to Kibale National park. The rides offer beautiful views of the countryside, tea plantations and much more. This journey is 40 km; however, you do not have to ride the entire journey as the service van will keep a good distance behind you should you need some rest. Overnight at the hotel

Day 3:  Chimpanzee Trek. / Cycle to Bigodi Wetland.

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for briefing and through the forest, you will start the search for the Chimpanzees. Note that Kibale forest is known to be home to over 13 species of primates and among them are groups of chimpanzees so be sure you will have a perfect experience as you closely encounter them. The trek through the forest takes 1-to 3 hours before you meet the chimpanzees’ and then you are allowed to spend 1 hour following them.  You will return to your lodge for lunch and then in the afternoon, you will go for hour-long cycling to Bigodi wetland. The ride through will reward you with views of monkeys, plenty of birds, and baboons to mention but a few.  Return to your lodge for overnight.

Day 4: Transfer from Kibale to Queen Elizabeth Park.

Your day will start with an early breakfast, you will then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive takes you about 3 hours. However, if we opt to cycle along the 21km stretch that has beautiful views of the volcanic craters, farms, and homesteads then Our transfer will take longer but amazing, then you will join in from Kibale Kasese-Fort Portal Highway with our drive.

Arrive at the park in the afternoon, and then go for a game drive in the park. Visit the salt mines and craters this afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Game drive and Boat cruise.

The day starts very early in the morning before sunrise to catch the early risers. The game drive will take you through the Kasenyi area and the Queens Mile, rewarding you with wildlife to include lions, elephants, buffaloes’ hyenas, leopards, Uganda kobs and many more animals plus plenty of birds.

Return to the lodge for late breakfast and then relax. In the afternoon, you will go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. The cruise will reward you with splendid views of plenty of animals at the shores, and birds. The channel offers a colorful bird life and thus it is a bird watchers paradise with over 600 species being recorded.

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi – Afternoon Bike Ride in Bwindi Area.

In the morning right after breakfast, you will drive to transfer to Bwindi. The drive will take you through the Ishasha sector. Beware of tree climbing lions and then drive to proceed and arrive in the afternoon. The drive takes 5 to 6 hours. You have lunch at the lodge and then in the afternoon, you will have a guided walk through the Buhoma community to Visit the Local communities then ride bikes on your way back to your lodge.

Day 7: Gorilla tracking tour in Bwindi National Park.

Depart your lodge after breakfast, to transfer to the park headquarters for briefing. After briefing through the forest, you will start your search for the gorillas. Once you meet the gorillas you will be allowed to spend 1 hour following them and taking pictures. Later you will trek to the starting point where the guide will pick you to transfer to your hotel.

Day 8: Biking in Bwindi Gorilla Highlands.

On your eighth day, you will go cycling in the Bwindi area. We advise that depending on the weather you pack enough water and also dress right. Bwindi highlands have cool weather and being a tropical rainforest, it can rain anytime, we, therefore, advise that you carry a raincoat too.  The ride will be great for bird watchers and will also offer an opportunity to meet some of the friendliest people in the world and also offer splendid views of the meandering hills of Bwindi Forest the gorilla highlands. Return to the lodge for lunch and then later you will be entertained by the locals of the area. Overnight at your lodge.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. / Cycling with Wildlife.

In the morning right after breakfast, you will drive to transfer to Lake Mburo national park. Arrive at the park in time for lunch since it's a 5hours’ drive. Have Lunch and then in the afternoon go cycling through the park for an opportunity to see animals like zebras, buffaloes. and many more. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Game drive and transfer to Entebbe international airport.

This morning you will go for another game drive in the park searching for wildlife cycling and then later you will drive to transfer to Entebbe to catch your onward flight back home.
