This 4 Days safari takes you to Ngamba Chimpanzee Sanctuary on Lake Victoria to view the orphaned Chimpanzees rescued from poachers and smugglers and to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest located in Southwestern Uganda for Gorilla tracking, here you will be able to have a great time with the Mountain gorillas.
Also other activities can be enjoyed in Bwindi like Birding, primate tracking, cultural encounters, and nature walks in this thick tropical forest.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Ngamba Island for Chimpanzee Viewing
Your guide will meet you when you arrive at Entebbe International Airport, transfer you to UWEC, and be briefed about the trip to the island. Thereafter you will go for a boat ride on Lake Victoria to Ngamba Island which is home to 49 chimpanzees.
You will be able to watch them play around, feed, being treated among other things, later in the leave the Island and return to Entebbe and thereafter drive to Kampala which is the Uganda’s Capital for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Southwestern Uganda, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On this day after your breakfast, you will leave Kampala around 7:00am for an 8 to 9 Hours journey. Drive to the Southwest having a stopover at the Equator for photographs and buying of souvenirs and also in Mbarara town for lunch-this is home to long horned cattle and banana plantations. Later proceed to Kabale also known as the Switzerland of Africa due to its weather, it is also endowed with stunning landscapes majorly the rolling terraced hills.
You will reach Bwindi in the evening for dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking – Bwindi
After breakfast, ensure you carry packed lunch as you report to the park information center/headquarters where you will be briefed about the park rules by the Park ranger guide. Later continue to the mist covered thick forest tropical forest to track Mountain gorillas, this can take between 2 to 8 hours since these gentle giants move from place to place.
Once you see them, you will have one hour with them as you have a great time observing their behavior as you take photos. Return back, have dinner and overnight at Silverback Lodge/Chameleon Hill lodge/ Mutanda Lake Resort/Gorilla Mist Camp/Gorilla Forest Camp.

Day 4: Return to Kampala
Take your breakfast and start your journey to Kampala with a stopover for lunch in Mbarara. After lunch carry on as you will arrive Kampala late evening after which you will be transferred to Entebbe Airport to catch up with the flight back home
