This tour takes you to the tea estates where you will have a chance to visit one of the tea farmers and he will explain to you much more about tea farming and today your eyes will see plantation workers weeding, spraying, plucking in the tea fields with their baskets on their backs then later you will proceed to the tea factory to witness how tea is processed and we hope you won’t finish this entire experience minus tasting the final product.  then later after a picnic lunch you will visit kihingami wetland for a guided nature walk where you will spot more than 5 species of monkeys like black and white colobus monkey, the endangered red colobus monkey and a lot of colorful birds passing by like white spotted fluff tail, black bee-eater and in this tour you will also experience community interaction then later in evening the guide will drive you back to fort portal.

Early in the morning after breakfast, leave fort portal city and drive to kibale national park 23km along fort portal-kamwenge road.  Upon arrival at Kanyanchu visitors center you will be briefed about the dos and don’ts of the park and you will start the trek to the forest searching for these primates, when found you will stay with them for 1 hour, while seeing them playing, mating, feeding, swinging in the tree branches and you will take much photos as you can.  this will be an experience in a lifetime and you may see other primates along the walk like black and white colobus monkey, the rare L’Hoest’s monkey and much more to see. With endless list of bird species like the endemic green breasted pitta and yellow bill. have lunch and Then proceed to bigodi for a community walk. after the walk drive back to fort portal

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in fort portal and take you to kasenda crater lake belt where you will visit more than 5 crater lakes with beautiful views upon arrival you will hike to the top of the world for glimpse of the surrounding areas like kibale national park and on a clear day you will see lake Edward and George found in queen Elizabeth national park. then proceed to the twin lakes (Nyinambuga and kifuruka) one of the lake is on twenty thousand Uganda shillings note and your guide will tell you more legendary stories about these lakes. then proceed with a guided village walk to Mahoma waterfalls where you shall take a refreshment in the falls then later drive to lake nkuruba nature reserve for lunch and this reserve harbors more than three primates like the common black and white colobus monkey, red colobus monkey, red tailed monkey and vervet monkey have a chance to spot these primates while having lunch then late afternoon your guide will drive you back to fort portal

Take an early morning breakfast, then you guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to queen Elizabeth national park found in Kasese district upon arrival do a morning game drive along Kasenyi plain in search for lions, encounter elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, Uganda Kobs lakes and a variety of birds like black winged lapwing, African crowned eagle, red necked falcon etc. then drive to Mweya peninsular for lunch. After lunch, go for two-hours boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel is worthwhile an opportunity to see schools of Hippos, Buffalo, Kobs, Elephants, basking crocodiles, warthogs etc. This trip also enables visitor chance to see spectacular birds like saddle bellied stock, African fish eagle, little egret, hamerkop e t c. then late early evening drive back to fort portal.

This trek takes you for a full day discovering the northern side of rwenzori maintains (the legendary mountain of the moon). after breakfast, your guide will pick you at your hotel and drive you up to the starting point in kazingo areas for a hike pass through bakonzo community homesteads as the guide point out some of the interesting features like albert plains and western arm of the great rift valley, the meandering Semuliki river and blue mountains of Congo.  this hike is entirely scenic.   Have chance to see blue monkeys, grey cheeked mangbeys and birds like rwenzori apalis, rwenzori turaco etc. experience changing vegetation like bamboo as you go up to 3000m asl, have picnic lunch up in the hills before descending down wards to Bundibugyo town reaching early evening to transfer back to fort portal

your guide will pick you from a hotel in fort portal and drive you to Semuliki national park with beautiful views on the backdrop of rwenzori mountains and Semuliki rift valley to Sempaya hot springs which are the most attention-grabbing attractions in Semuliki. These springs have a geyser that shoots up from the 8 meters’ hole, and the water is at a high temperature of 103 degrees. The most interesting part about the springs is that there is a male and a female hot springs as our guide will be explaining to you the legendary history behind and be prepared to exercise your expertise in cooking by preparing your own breakfast containing matooke and eggs in the springs and they can get ready for eating in a few minutes this is a life time experience to have. this is the largest hot spring in Uganda,


Still along the trail where the hot springs are located you will expect to see a number of birds such as the Blue breasted Kingfisher and various primates such as the red tailed monkeys, and the grey cheeked Mangabey. Later proceed to Bundibugyo town for lunch before visiting the local community where you will visit cocoa and vanilla farms, interact with farmers, pass by palm oil production sites for the local community. Later afternoon drive back to fort portal.

Following an early breakfast, you’ll be picked by your guide and drive Semuliki wildlife reserve, while in the park spot some wildlife like buffalo, bushbucks, Uganda kobs, warthogs and some reptiles like monitor lizards, blue headed agama, Gabon viper etc. then drive to the fishing village of Ntoroko from where you will have lunch at UWA bandas after you’ll go on a birding boat cruise on Lake Albert. The swamp at the southern end of Lake Albert is one of the best spots in Uganda to observe the much sought-after and rare shoebill stork. You’ll have a chance to observe rare species such as grey-headed gull, lesser Swamp-warbler, Spot-breasted ibis, Senegal coucal and African green ibis. Some other remarkable birds that can be seen are blue-cheeked bee-eater, blue-headed coucal, goliath heron, yellow-billed stork and grey-crowned crane. After your boat trip, you’ll return to back to fort portal

This walk takes you to the community and its natural beauty. after breakfast your local guide will pick you up from your hotel and start this walk in time passing through villages and your guide will be pointing and explaining whatever you encounter. You will take a hike to view 3 crater lake at the same point of view and the surrounding areas , take photos as you can then later descend back and walk up to  the ‘Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru‘ meaning the breasts of Nyina Mwiru – and the name in the local tradition and the Toro folklore has it that the caves acquired the name after King Bukuku of Toro chopped off the breasts of his daughter Nyina Mwiru and had them thrown inside these caves, following a prophecy that the daughter would one day get married and have a son, Ndahura, who would kill the king and take over his throne. According to local legend the prophecy came true. In reality – the scientific explanation is that the so-called breasts are in reality stalactites and are made up of calcium carbonate when blended with water drip down and form the stalactites that you will find here. The water dripping made to look milky by the calcium carbonate is called “breast milk” by the local people who live near the Amabere Caves. later accompany vehicle will pick you up back in fort portal for lunch and to un wind your self

Today wake up early for breakfast, then our guide will pick you from your place of resident with your packed lunch and drive you to kibale forest national park for an amazing chimpanzee habituating and upon arrival at the starting point you will be briefed by park rangers and you will join other habituators and start searching for these primates when found you will spend a day with them you will enjoy them when de nesting and nesting, swinging in tree branches, grooming young ones, playing, feeding, patrolling etc. this will be an experience in a life time to enjoy. Later in the evening you will be transferred back to fort portal
