6 Days Uganda safari will take you places like Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to over 400 mountain gorillas for gorilla tracking, Queen Elizabeth National park, named after the visit of Queen Elizabeth II in 1954. The Park is well known for its diverse nature, it harbors mammals species, primates, reptiles and 612 bird species include; the martial eagle, black-rumped button quail, African skimmer, Chapin’s flycatcher, pink backed pelicans, white-winged warbler, papyrus canary, papyrus gonolek among others. Queen Elizabeth National park is also famous for the tree climbing lions in the Ishasha sector. Visit Lake Mburo National park where you will be able to enjoy a game drive or boat cruise on this beautiful lake. This national park is among the smallest parks in Uganda and it has got a big population of Zebras, impalas, giraffes, kobs, antelopes, birds etc.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1. Transfer to Lake Mburo national park
Rise up to an early morning breakfast and your safari guide will pick you up to start your safari to Lake Mburo national park western part of Uganda, along the way there are stop overs at the equator monument for photography and a few experimentations not forgetting buying your yourself souvenirs. You will arrive at the park early afternoon, and have lunch at the lodge, check in as you prepare for the game drive with in the park. During the game drive you will get chance to see different wildlife species such as Kobs, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, water hogs and impalas among others. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight.

Day 2. Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
After your early morning breakfast, you will depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, as you drive you will enjoy the great volcanic landscape of Kigezi rolling hills covered with vegetation. Have your lunch en-route as you travel and later approach the park, which harbors over 400 individuals of mountain gorillas. The park has four main sectors where to track the mountain gorillas. You will arrive at the park late afternoon, if time allows, you might opt for a guided nature walk with in the park in the evening or relax at your lodge to prepare for the tracking of gorillas the next day.

Day 3. Gorilla tracking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
Wake up early for morning breakfast and your guide will pick you up and drive to the park quarters for 7:00 am briefing before tracking,en devour to carry your packed lunch and enough drinking water as we cannot guarantee the time to spend while tracking depending on where the gentle giants will be.
Trekkers are always advised to carry enough water, snacks, boots and raincoats since the weather is unpredictable in most cases, also remember that tracking needs you to be physically strong, you may as well need to hire a porter if need be. After the trek, head back to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you could choose to unwind at the lodge or visit the Batwa community and have a great time watching them dance and sing through cultural performances.

Day 4. Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
Have your breakfast and thereafter start your journey through the Savannah vegetation, you will also pass via the Ishasha sector where you will get a chance of viewing the tree climbing lions up on the fig tree relaxing and many other animal species duikers, elephants, bush bucks as you approach Queen Elizabeth National Park.  On your arrival at the park, you will have lunch and later go for an evening game drive were you will be able to view many animals including the elephants, kobs, antelopes, warthogs, water bucks, etc. After, return to the lodge to enjoy your dinner and overnight.

Day 5. Game drive and boat cruise Queen Elizabeth national park
You will start your morning game drive so early at 6:00 am ,this will require you to be up very early, with this you will be able to see very many animals along the Kasenyi track, you will also be able to view different animals such as elephants, antelopes, water bucks, buffaloes, lions, kobs among others. After the game drive, return to the lodge for your late breakfast, relax and later have lunch as you prepare for the afternoon boat cruise. You will have a great time cruising along the Kazinga channel where lakes Edward and George meet .while at the boat you will chance to view water birds such as the saddle billed stork, pink backed pelicans, the malachite kingfishers and animals such as crocodiles, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, feeding along the channel.
Later in the evening, head back to the Lodge, have dinner, and spend the night.

Day 6: Departure back to Kampala
Have your breakfast and set off for Kampala, you will go through kasese, Fort portal where you will spot baboons along sebitoli gate of kibale national park River and beautiful scenery of tea plantations along the way .
Have your lunch in Mubende and continue to Kampala arriving late afternoon.
