The Ssese islands which are comprised of 84 counts of Islands positioned in the Lake Victoria’s North western direction are slowly growing in popularity to become a darling for range of travelers on safaris in Uganda that prefer to have a rest at a romantic resort.

Politically, the Islands of Ssese also referred to as the Ssese Archipelago is under the district administration of Kalangala which is the only district in Uganda with no main land territory. Lake Victoria which stands as the world’s largest tropical lake, the largest lake on the continent of Africa and the second largest fresh water lake on global scale is a wonder of its own and a considerable attraction to a range of travelers on Uganda tours.

Day 1: Depart from Entebbe to Ssese Islands Uganda

Leave Kampala in the morning to be in time for the ferry at Bukakata in Masaka, travel by ferry to Bugala Islands. These islands are well known for their Caribbean like feel and they will offer you the sight of splendid white sand beaches and sky blue waters. The islands residents include vervet and Colobus monkeys, forest walk, a variety of bird species and scores of butterflies. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge

Day 2: Ssese Islands Uganda

After breakfast, participate in any of the activities on the Ssese islands which include bird watching, Swimming & sun bathing, Sport fishing, forest and nature walks around the Ssese islands, boat rides but all activities are optional. Retire to your Hotel/Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: Transfer back to Entebbe/Kampala

Return to Kampala After breakfast, transfer by boat to Entebbe at 8.00 o’clock where you will be met by one of our company Guide to be driven back to Kampala or Entebbe where the safari ends.
